Here is this weeks guide to help support you and your business and to share relevant information and guidance around Business, Recruitment and HR.

Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – Making A Claim

On Friday the Chancellor announced an extension to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
The scheme, originally in place until the end of May, has been extended until the end of June and the new portal for claiming furloughed workers wages went live this morning.
Find out how to calculate 80% of your employee’s wages, National Insurance Contributions and pension contributions if you’ve furloughed staff due to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Salisbury BID Weekly Webinar

Keith Hanson, owner and Director of Personnel Placements has been supporting Salisbury BID Members by answering questions around furloughing and general HR issues as part of an expert panel weekly webinar held each Tuesday. This is free to attend and you can find details and register here. Or please call us on 01722 334433.

Useful Information To Share With Your Employees

One local initiative we have discovered is being run online by ArtCare, the arts in health service for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust that could be of interest to you and your employees.
ArtCare supports the wellbeing of hospital staff, patients and visitors with an array of online content to uplift and inspire, including music, poems, storytelling and ‘have a go’ art guides. They have also teamed up with Odstock Health and Fitness, the hospital’s onsite Leisure Centre, to bring people some online workouts.

Other Useful Websites

Wilsons Solicitors have a Covid-19 Hub which has several useful articles and updates including information for landlords and tenants, the CRJS and workforce planning.
Salisbury BID has teamed up with local anxiety specialist, Caroline Cavanagh of Adding Zest, to support business leaders and their employees through the mental effects of the coronavirus pandemic. More information here.
LBB Business Coach – Lindsey is an expert in collaborative working and finding enterprising solutions for effective and efficient working.
