I am now in my 15th year at Personnel Placements, having started as a temp myself and never left! During the years we have had to adapt and make many changes to reflect the recruitment climate but I am confident our excellent customer service skills and positive approach has help us withstand any difficulties, coupled with the longevity and commitment of the staff members here.

Having managed the temp desk as well as many of the permanent vacancies, especially for some of our long-standing clients, in October this year I moved into a new role as Part Time Payroll Administrator. I work 2 days a week and manage the collation and processing of timesheets and ensure everyone gets paid on a Friday! Once payroll is processed and completed I also support the consultants so am able to pop on my recruitment hat if needed!

As the social media dinosaur of PP I am gradually embracing the importance of this to progress our business and am thankful for the help from the rest of the team; who knows maybe this will be my year of blogging, tweeting and live videos!

Away from work I have an interest in travel but not always the opportunity to do as much as I would like; I have an ongoing bucket list of places I would like to visit ready for my retirement! I am also a keen skier albeit a lot less adventurous than in my youth and can generally be found enjoying the ‘après ski’ long before the last lift!
