We are looking for an experienced person to join a recently merged and growing business in Bristol as an Internal Salesperson.
The Internal Sales person will be working in a team of 12, responsibility for achieving an annual gross profit target from every allocated customer, negotiating and agreeing terms, which maximise the return. The Internal Salesperson will also be responsible for identifying opportunity and establishing new business to ensure ongoing growth of the customer base and gross profit generation.
In this role you will be speaking to and communicating with your allocated customers, ensuring purchase orders are progress with suppliers and entered correctly onto the computer system. You’ll also monitor, measure and plan strategy to ensure profit targets for each customer, regularly reviewing and rescheduling when needed. Quotes, sourcing materials, chasing suppliers and ensuring delivery on time are all part of your role.
Whilst you will have an established customer base to work from, identifying new opportunities and development of new portfolios is also something you will be tasked with.
To make a real success of this role and increase your basic salary by contributing to the company ROI as well as have regular salary reviews throughout the year based on personal performance, you will have sales based experience ideally within manufacturing, plastics/metals/construction, be able to negotiate and have good IT, numeracy and admin skills.
