Our client, an accountant firm based in Salisbury, has a vacancy for a bookkeeper with experience of computerised accounts packages. You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team and your role will be varied with a changing workload. As the bookkeeper you will be dealing with sales and purchase invoices, reconciling bank accounts and submitting VAT returns. You will be working in a varied role, providing bookkeeping support to clients in the office as well at their business premises so you will need to have a driving licence to be able to travel to client and other offices.
As part of a small team the bookkeeper may also need to help out on reception and within other departments as needed so a flexible approach is needed.
You will possess high attention to detail and good IT skills, and will need a really good working knowledge Of Excel. Invoices may be posted and reconciled on Quickbooks, Xero, Sage, Excel.
Full training will be provided on the In house database and computer programs. You may be qualified as ICB, AAT or by experience.
